The SHIP Secretariat will comply with the terms & conditions as stated below for the treatment of personal information in any activities of SHIP.

1. Purpose for use

The SHIP Secretariat will use personal information only for the purposes listed below. We do not use the personal information provided beyond the scope without previous permission of the provider, except in cases permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act or other relevant laws and regulations.
(1) Notifications about open forums and public events related to the SHIP Community
(2) Call for entries of SHIP Corporate Members and SHIP Premium Corporate Members
(3) Contact in response to enquiries
(4) Other aims in support of achieving the above stated purposes

2. Sharing of personal information with third parties

The SHIP Secretariat will comply with the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws and regulations in sharing any personal information with a third party.

3. Security management

The SHIP Secretariat conducts maintenance of the operating system, physical and technical safety control measures, education of personnel in charge and any other measures necessary to properly manage personal information and take precautionary measures against issues, such as leakage, loss, or damage.

4. Request for acknowledgment of usage objectives, disclosure, amendment, suspension and so on of personal information.

Upon request, the SHIP Secretariat will inform users about disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension or elimination of use, and suspension of sharing with third parties of their personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act. If the request does not satisfy the requirements specified by the Personal Information Protection Act or if there are reasons for refusing disclosure etc. according to the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws and regulations, we may not be able to respond to your request. In addition, please understand beforehand that processing fees may apply for requests of disclosure of use of personal information.
